The Fugazi / The perfect Tungsten Carbide Ring / ready for despatch today

from $280.00

This is our only ring ready for despatch on the same business day of ordering. Stocked in the majority of finger sizes.

The Fugazi is a ring designed to suit the majority and is ready for shipping immediately.

Made in the most commonly chosen width of 6mm which will suit all hand sizes.

The ring is made from tungsten carbide, an extremely hard, durable and affordable material that is essentially scratch proof.

It’s almost as hard as diamond, making it tough enough to wear at the gym or on the job if you’re so inclined (although not recommended for safety reasons!).

While tungsten carbide rings are everywhere, the companies selling them online don’t really have a clue about comfort. They order them in bulk from an overseas catalogue based on appearances.

Having met thousands of clients in my nearly 15 years of doing this, I hazard to say that I know what a ring should feel like to make it a pleasure to wear.

Almost every tungsten carbide ring you’ll find out there will be 2.3mm or thicker, making it bulky and uncomfortable to wear.

I have had my own tungsten carbide rings custom made to my specifications.

The thickness of this ring is 1.75mm which is the perfect depth for comfort and durability of the material. It won’t feel bulky on the hand.

Exemplifying our motto of “thoughtfully made rings”.

Tungsten carbide has a specific gravity of 16, giving it a tasteful weight and feel, equivalent to 18ct gold.

Other metals such as titanium and zirconium are significantly lighter.

It will of course arrive packaged in our custom machined billet aluminium ring case. We’ve spared no expense, but if you would prefer to, there’s an option to order it without the box to save yourself a few coffees.

So, when you order this ring, feel free to take a guess at your size if you think you know it, and we’ll send that ring along with one of our 3D printed sizing kits.

If it doesn’t feel right, let us know and we’ll send you a new one with a return satchel included for the original ring to be sent back.

If you would rather use the sizing kit to begin with, just choose that option during checkout and we’ll send that first instead.

A few important things to know about tungsten carbide.

It’s an extremely hard metal which means it won’t scratch. The downside to extreme hardness means there is a possibility of chipping or cracking, If it meets another hard object with force (such as a drop on bathroom tiles).

If this unlikely event happens, we will replace it for you free of charge.

Safety Precautions

Also of note is the fact that tungsten carbide rings are extremely difficult to cut in an emergency without a diamond saw, but instead can be quite easily cracked and removed with the right tool.

It’s arguably easier to do than cutting a traditional gold ring.

Ideally, vice grip pliers that squeeze very slightly with a lot of force can be used to safely remove a tungsten carbide ring by cracking it.

In the worst case, a hammer can be used to crack a tungsten carbide ring, but it’s definitely not recommended.
