The 3D printed sizing ring story
It began during COVID-19. Nobody could go out to have their finger sized at jewellery shops.
3D printer prices became reasonable. I came up with the idea to 3D print plastic sets of rings that we could post out for online orders.
It’s safe and effective. Lo and behold, it’s actually far more effective to accurately gauge your finger size.
Why it’s better…
We print them in the width of the ring you’ve chosen. For example a store may size you with standard 2mm width sizing rings, then you order a 7mm ring. It won’t feel the same. The additional width will make it feel tighter.
It allows you to try them over a longer period of time. Sizing at one point in one day is completely inaccurate. With these, you can try them all day or preferably over multiple days. You don’t realise it until you wear a ring, but your finger size changes constantly. Activity, weather, hydration etc all affect it.
We also throw in some different width options that allow you to select a width that suits your hand.
